Mechanical engineer recruitment

Mechanical engineering on a construction project covers a lot of ground. On a commercial build it’s usually building services: HVAC, hydraulics coordination and plant rooms. On an industrial job it’s equipment, conveyors and process pipework. On a renewables project it can mean tracker systems, cooling or balance-of-plant equipment. An engineer who is strong in one of these won’t always suit another, so we start with the discipline and the stage of the project you’re hiring for.

Most mechanical engineers we place are permanent hires, made through our permanent recruitment service. We can also place an engineer on contract to see a project through design coordination, installation or commissioning.

We recruit for commercial and industrial construction, maintenance and facilities management, and renewable energy projects including utility-scale solar and battery storage.

Every candidate goes through a screen of their project history, a face-to-face interview and reference checks with people who managed their work.
