Mechanical supervisor recruitment

Mechanical supervisors for solar farm and construction projects, engaged on contract for an installation or recruited into permanent roles. We can also supply the installation crews they run, from a team that has crewed mechanical installation on solar farms across NSW and Victoria.

Mechanical Supervisor supplied by TradeConnex

Hiring mechanical supervisor through TradeConnex

On a solar farm, the mechanical supervisor runs the installation of the frames, trackers and modules. They plan the work fronts, set the crews, chase production rates and make sure torque, alignment and QA records meet the manufacturer’s requirements. Their crews decide whether the program holds.

We know those crews well. On Wellington Solar Farm, a 174MW project, we supplied more than 80 talent for the mechanical installation using the ATI system, including telehandler and forklift operators, skilled labourers and quality assurance teams. On Culcairn Solar Farm our crew supported more than 75,000 piles and mechanical installation across several NEXTracker blocks. We’ve also supplied mechanical installation talent to Wemen Solar Farm in Victoria, and six trade assistants to the Lord Howe Island Solar Farm, about 600km off the mainland.

Mechanical supervisors are usually needed for the installation phase, so many roles are filled on contract. Where you want a supervisor on staff, we recruit through our permanent recruitment service. Our solar workforce page covers the crews.

We check each supervisor’s installation history and the systems they’ve worked on, interview them face to face and speak to their referees.
