A project manager carries the program, the budget and the client relationship from contract award to handover. The right hire depends on the job: a PM who has delivered commercial fitouts brings different experience to one who has run electrical works on a solar farm. On Wollar Solar Farm, a 280MWac project in the Central Tablelands, we placed an electrical project manager as part of the project and site leadership we filled for several contractors between September 2023 and September 2024. The same project took a construction manager, a project program scheduler and a contract administrator through us.
Most project manager roles we fill are permanent, through our permanent recruitment service. Where a client needs a PM for one project or to cover a gap, we can place them on contract instead.
