Quantity surveyors for builders, civil contractors and subcontractors, recruited into permanent roles or brought in on contract for a heavy tendering or delivery period. Every shortlisted QS is interviewed face to face and reference checked.
A contractor’s QS protects the margin. They price the job at tender, let the subcontract packages, put in progress claims, value variations and close out the final account. When cost reporting slips, problems surface late and they cost more to fix.
QS roles vary a lot. Some clients need a senior commercial lead who can run a project’s cost reporting on their own. Others need an estimator-QS to price tenders, or a junior to manage claims under a senior. Contractor-side and consultant-side experience are not the same either. We ask which you need, what you build and the project values involved, then shortlist on that.
Most QS roles we fill are permanent, through our permanent recruitment service. If you need an extra QS for a tender run or a busy delivery stretch, we can place one on contract. We recruit for residential, commercial and industrial construction, civil infrastructure and consultancy businesses.
Candidates are screened on the projects and packages they’ve managed, interviewed in person and checked with referees before we put them forward.
