Civil Engineer supplied by TradeConnex

Hiring civil engineer through TradeConnex

On a contractor’s delivery team, the civil engineer looks after earthworks, drainage, pavements and structures. They manage lots and ITPs, check levels with the surveyors, deal with authorities and utility owners, and keep the as-built record that the client will sign off against. On a solar farm, the civil scope is usually access roads, drainage, hardstands and the ground the piling crews depend on.

We recruit civil engineers for roads, highways, bridges and tunnels, railways, utilities and utility-scale solar. Road and rail experience don’t always transfer, so we shortlist on the asset type, the contract and the stage of the project.

Most civil engineer roles we fill are permanent hires, made through our permanent recruitment service. We also place civil engineers on contract for a package or a busy phase of delivery. Because TradeConnex supplies civil labourers and machine operators through labour hire, we know the work your engineer will be overseeing.

Every candidate is screened on the civil packages they’ve delivered, interviewed face to face and reference checked.
