Renderer labour hire

Renderers for sand and cement, acrylic and texture-coat finishes on new builds, extensions and refurbishments. Screened, White Card-holding and booked for the days your walls are ready, from one renderer to a crew working off scaffold.

Renderers supplied by TradeConnex

Hiring renderers through TradeConnex

Render shows every shortcut. Poor prep, rushed coats or a crew that leaves before the work has cured all end up as cracks, patchy colour or callbacks. We put forward renderers who can read a wall, prepare the substrate properly and hold a consistent finish across a whole elevation.

Rendering usually lands near the end of the external program, when the scaffold hire is ticking and the painters are waiting to start. We match renderers to the system you’re specifying (sand and cement, acrylic over block or foam cladding, or a texture coat) and to the access on site, from trestles and ladders to scaffold and elevating work platforms.

We supply renderers for residential and commercial builds and for maintenance and refurbishment work. Each renderer is screened in three stages: their rendering experience, a face-to-face interview and reference checks. To cover the facade from start to finish, book scaffolders and painters through us as well.

What they do on site

  • Prepare walls: clean, patch, fix beads and mesh, and apply bonding coats
  • Mix and apply sand and cement, acrylic and texture-coat renders
  • Float, sponge or texture to the specified finish
  • Render over brick, block, concrete and cladding systems
  • Form control joints and protect windows, doors and finished surfaces
  • Work safely from scaffold, trestles and elevating work platforms

Renderers FAQs

Tell us the system on your drawings, such as sand and cement, acrylic or a texture coat, and we’ll put forward renderers with experience in it.

Yes, if they hold the right training. Booms of 11 metres or more need a High Risk Work Licence (WP), and we check it before anyone starts.

Bookings start at four hours per day. A renderer can then stay on for one elevation, a stage of the build or the whole project.

Yes. We also supply painters, so you can book both facade trades through one contact.
