Labour hire for Adelaide projects

South Australia has some of the country’s busiest renewable energy development, and a good share of it sits within a couple of hours of Adelaide, along the Murray and out into the Murraylands. TradeConnex has crewed two solar farms in that stretch.

At Tailem Bend 2 Solar Farm, an 87MW project for Vena Energy covering 207 hectares, we supplied more than 100 operators and tradespeople. The site is remote, so keeping the crew together mattered: we built a sense of community on site and ran incentives that kept morale and productivity up through the build.

At Mannum Solar Farm, about 85km east of Adelaide in the Mid Murray, we supplied more than 20 skilled labourers and quality assurance staff for the mechanical assembly of the NexTracker system between August and November 2020. We also provided an onsite vehicle to move the team around the site.

Closer to the city, we supply general labourers, plant operators and licensed trades to civil, commercial and industrial projects across metro Adelaide.
