Near Gympie, TradeConnex supplied labour hire to the Munna Creek Solar Farm, a 150MW project with more than 255,000 panels across about 467 hectares. From October 2024 to November 2025 we placed more than 150 talent on site, including solar labourers, plant operators, mechanical and electrical trade assistants, HSE advisors, store personnel and junior project management support.
The site was remote, the terrain was difficult and the weather was extreme, which made finding and keeping a reliable crew one of the project’s biggest challenges. Our job was to keep that crew consistent and supported from the start of construction to the end, so the build could keep moving safely and on schedule.
Closer to the coast, we supply labourers, carpenters, concreters and trades to residential and commercial builders from Caloundra to Noosa, and to civil contractors working on roads and new estates. For utility-scale solar elsewhere in Queensland, see Toowoomba and Gladstone.

South and west of Caloundra, new communities are being built on open land. That means civil works first and housing after, and we supply civil labourers, machine operators and residential trades for both.
Smaller high-end homes and renovations around Noosa Heads, Noosaville and Tewantin, where tidy, careful trades matter. We supply carpenters, labourers and finishing trades.
Inland towns such as Nambour, Yandina and Maleny, with residential, rural and light industrial jobs. We supply labourers and trades across the hinterland.
North of the coast, where we placed 150+ talent on Munna Creek Solar Farm, a remote utility-scale build with tough terrain and weather.
An initial screen of trade experience, a face-to-face interview and reference checks before anyone reaches your site.
Talent arrives with the PPE the job needs and their tickets confirmed: White Card, high-risk work licences, plant tickets or RIW accreditation.
A minimum of four hours per day per person, from short-term cover to full project durations, with the option to take talent on permanently.

Yes. HSE advisors were part of our team at Munna Creek. For safety roles you want to fill on a permanent basis, we also offer permanent recruitment.
Yes. Every person we put forward for construction work holds a White Card (general construction induction card), and we confirm any plant tickets or licences the role needs before they start.
Talent is booked for at least four hours per day. Past that, hire can run for a few days, a set period or the length of the project.
