Merredin Solar Farm is the largest solar farm committed to construction in Western Australia and has an output of 281GWh of electricity annually, generating enough energy to power approximately 42,000 Western Australian homes.

TradeConnex employed 200 talent to the Merredin Solar Farm through labour hire.

Roles we filled included Skid Steer Operators, Telehandler Operators, Quality Assurance Teams & Skilled Labourers.

Artech was the system used on the Merredin Solar Farm.

The challenge

The Merredin Solar Farm, the largest in Western Australia, required a substantial skilled workforce for the installation of a 132MW DC solar system, aiming to generate 281GWh annually.

The solution

TradeConnex provided 200 talent, including skid steer operators, telehandler operators, quality assurance teams, and skilled labourers, to handle the installation using the Artech system.
