Piling and early works
Piling rig and excavator operators with labourers for pile installation and site preparation, as we supplied at Culcairn, Glenellen and Aldoga.
Piling operators, plant operators, solar labourers and electricians for utility-scale solar farms. We've crewed 26 solar farm builds across five states, from piling and early works through to mechanical rectification.
TradeConnex has supplied talent to 26 solar farms across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. The roles repeat from site to site: piling rig and excavator operators, telehandler and skid steer operators, module install teams, QA personnel and licensed electricians.
At Munna Creek near Gympie we placed more than 150 talent across a long build in hard terrain and extreme weather. At Aldoga near Gladstone, 100 of our talent worked on piling and installation. On Lancaster Solar Farm near Kyabram, the 42 talent we supplied covered both mechanical and electrical scopes.
Many solar farms sit hours from a major centre. For West Wyalong we ran transport for talent and found accommodation within a 45-minute drive, and on builds such as Yarranlea and Wellington we supplied on-site vehicles.

An initial screen of trade experience, a face-to-face interview and reference checks before anyone reaches your site.
Talent arrives with the PPE the job needs and their tickets confirmed: White Card, high-risk work licences, plant tickets or RIW accreditation.
A minimum of four hours per day per person, from short-term cover to full project durations, with the option to take talent on permanently.
Many of our team have worked on construction and solar sites themselves. Call us on 1300 995 234.
Yes. Most of the solar farms we’ve crewed are regional. For West Wyalong we arranged transport and sourced accommodation within 45 minutes of site, and we did the same for talent at Cunderdin Solar Farm in WA.
Our largest placements include 200 talent at Merredin, more than 150 at Munna Creek and 120 at Maryrorough. Crews can build up for piling and installation and taper off as the mechanical scope finishes.
Every person we put forward holds a White Card. We confirm the rest before they start: plant competencies for the machines they’ll run, a state electrical licence for electricians, and any site inductions the principal contractor requires.
Yes. QA teams were part of many of our solar crews, and we’ve placed HSE advisors, site administrators and junior project management support. We also run permanent recruitment for long-term roles.
Send us the trades, headcount, site and start date, and we'll put forward talent who fit.
